Today you are going out about all the different areas of engineering, what engineers do and found out if you are suited to any of these fields.

Task two - Meet the engineers - Click here. From the list of 43 engineers. Look through the list of engineers and pick one you find the most interesting.
You will now need to find information about your choice. Each one has a video about their career path and information in the website, discuss the following:

- What products they make. Make a slide on a PowerPoint about your chosen engineer.

Task three - Is engineering for me? Click here for the quiz.
Task four - Once you have completed the quiz it will suggest 9 jobs in 3 categories. Have a look at them and choose 2 of the Engineering jobs you may find interesting.
Now, Research the 2 jobs you have chosen and add to your presentation / PowerPoint to show all your findings.
Include details such as - What do they do? What qualifications do you need to this job? What is the salary/rewards? What are the skills needed?

Task five - Case studies - this is another way of finding interesting careers linked to engineering. Click on the image below and scroll to the bottom of the page.
Click on a sector you are interested in. Find a case study and read it. Take notes to add to your presentation. This should include the job title and why you found it interesting.
