1 Four Bar linkage
Design It
- You have built the mechanisms on the Wackano sets and been able to see the real world application and tested them.
- You can however simulate all of the mechanisims using 3-Dimensional software, like SolidWorks.
- Below is a video tutorial of a 4 bar linkage system being designed on SolidWorks, you can follow the instructions and design one for yourself.
- Solidworks changes - CTRL +N - new file. Click on Basic Modelling Tools then Sketch.
- To find 'slot' tool you will need to type it into the search bar on the top right of your screen.
