1 Introduction

To introduce you to some of the products and tools you are going to use over the next term, we are going to make an introduction project.
In this project your will learn to:
Design a part using 3D software (SolidWorks)
Convert the part to a .dxf file.
Import the part to 2D software for use on the laser cutter.
Set up and prepare the laser cutter.
Cut out your product using the laser cutter.
